Selection Process
For Assistant Engineer
The selection process for Assistant Engineer will be based on Computer Based Test and Personal Interview. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in major cities of Uttar Pradesh like Allahabad, Aligarh, Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Jhansi, Muzaffarnagar, Greater Noida city, etc.
For Junior Engineer
The selection process of Junior Engineer will be based on Computer Based Test only. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in the cities of Varanasi, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and Meerut.
Exam Pattern
For Assistant Engineer
Candidates will be asked 75% questions from the Bachelor of Engineering level, 10% questions from General Knowledge/ Awareness, 10% questions from Reasoning/ Aptitude, and 5% questions from General Hindi. Each question in this examination will be of one (01) mark. If you have answered the questions wrong then there will be a negative marking of 25% (ie 0.25 marks) for each wrong answer. Candidates securing less than 30% marks in CBT will not be eligible for further stages of selection for interview. Candidates finally selected in the examination will also be called for an interview. If a candidate is shortlisted for an interview, it is mandatory for him/her to appear in the interview, failing which his/ her candidature will be canceled.
For Junior Engineer
The exam of Junior Engineer will be of 3 hours duration with a total of 200 marks and a total of 200 questions will be asked out of which 150 questions will be of Diploma level engineering. The branch syllabus for the post applied for will be 20 questions from General Knowledge/ Awareness, 20 questions from Reasoning, and 10 questions from General Hindi. In this test, each correct answer will carry one mark each and each wrong answer will carry an additional negative mark of 0.25. If candidates get less than 30% marks then those candidates will be rejected for further process of selection. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CBT.

- For Assistant Engineer: Rs.59,900/- (Level 10)
- For Junior Engineer: Rs.44,900/- (Level 7)
